Captain Frank Hebert

In his role as second in command, Captain Frank A. Hebert serves in an administrative capacity to oversee patrol operations. Working closely with Chief Christopher D. Moore, he supervises, manages and leads patrol and investigations. Having previously held the ranks of Patrolman, Detective, Sergeant and Lieutenant along with other specialized assignments his professional knowledge, skills and abilities are valued. Since 2005, Captain Hebert has remained highly focused on his efforts to deliver unparalleled police services to the residents and visitors of Weare.

A strong advocate for higher learning, Captain Hebert received the highest distinction of Summa Cum Laude from both Colby-Sawyer College as well as New England College. Through these esteemed institutions he earned three academic degrees as follows:

- Bachelor of Fine Arts degree

- Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice

- Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice Leadership and Administration

In 2016, Captain Hebert was welcomed into Roger Williams University to attend the Command Training Series: Mid-Management Course. During this stay, he joined other members of law enforcement to dissect contemporary concepts of management and leadership for first line supervisors in modern police agencies.  The following year, he returned to this University and secured a certificate for the Command Training Series: Executive Development Course.

In 2021, the Captain completed the FBI-LEEDA (Law Enforcement Executive Development Association) 658th session of the Supervisor Leadership Institute. In 2022, he held a seat at the FBI hosted New England Law Enforcement Regional Command College and later this same year, FBI-LEEDA's 692nd Command Leadership Institute. In November 2022, Captain Hebert received the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Award for recognition of his interest and ultimate achievement in building highly polished leadership skillset.  

In August of 2023, the Captain attended the Granite State Police Career Counseling "Leading through Adversity" Symposium. In the venue, sworn and civilian leaders came together to offer thought provoking insight in an effort to generate powerful discussion.
