In 2006, Officer Brophy graduated from high school in Barre, Massachusetts. He then pursued, and ultimately obtained, a Criminal Justice degree from Westfield State University where he ran on the Division 3 Cross Country team all 4 years. In 2013, Officer Brophy enlisted in the United States Army as a Fire Direction Control Specialist plotting and computing target and gun locations for the M777A2 Howitzer. After earning an honorable discharge he returned to New England and sought out a career in law enforcement. In 2018, he secured a spot in the 176th session of the New Hampshire Police Academy and served as a patrol officer with the Concord Police Department for 5 years.
