Swap Shop

The Town does not plan on reopening the Swap Shop at this time.
There was an abundance of municipal trash being placed at the swap shop. Also, items were being left at the swap shop to avoid paying the fee to dispose of them i.e. tv, computers, wooden furniture. This resulted in ALL taxpayers having to pay the fee. It would take an employee an entire day to clean out the Swap Shop on a weekly basis. The Town of Weare does not have the personnel to designate an entire day to cleaning and sorting through the Swap Shop.
