Officer Laura Purslow

Laura Purslow serves as a patrol officer and as the prosecutor for the Weare Police Department. She began her law enforcement career in 1997 with the Laconia Police Department as a part-time officer. After graduating from Saint Anselm college in 2001, she was sworn in  as a full time officer in Portsmouth, NH. Laura served for 13 years as a patrolman and detective with the City of Portsmouth before moving with her family to our area. Officer Purslow started working as a detective at the Dunbarton Police Department in 2014,  served as the community DARE officer and liaison to the school. In April 2020, she joined the Weare Police Department full-time. Officer Purslow enjoys going on fun adventures with her children and spending time and the lake with her friends and family.
