Sergeant/ Prosecutor Brandon Montplaisir

Sergeant Brandon F. Montplaisir is a graduate of John Stark Regional High School. He continued with his education through attending Springfield College where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. During this time, he interned with the Weare Police Department. At the successful conclusion of the internship he remained affiliated with the agency through volunteering.  In July 2009, Sergeant Montplaisir was awarded a position and officially joined the ranks as patrolman with Department.

Advancing further in his academic pursuit, Sergeant Montplaisir now holds a Master's degree in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Law Enforcement from Grand Canyon University. He is a certified instructor in expandable baton and defensive tactics. He is also a certified field training officer and has completed the Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (ARIDE) training. He has successfully completed the First Line Supervisor Course as well as the Mid-Manager Course at Roger Williams University.Sergeant Montplaisir if an ALICE instructor.

In 2022, Sergeant Montplaisir received the Hands of Hope award by the Granite State Childrens Alliance in recognition of exemplary service and dedication to provide quality services and fair treatment to child victims of crime.
