Volunteer

We Always Need Good Volunteers!

Meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month at the Weare Town Offices

The Commission is always looking for volunteers. Our volunteers are the key elements in helping the commission reach its goals and support its mission.

Whether you would like to join as a full participating commision member, an alternate, or join our Trails Subcommittee or the Open Space Subcommittee, we need you!

Fulfilling your civic duty could involve any of the many agenda items including land acquisition processes, land monitoring, timber management, wildlife discussion, site walks, public requests, trapping requests, warrant articles, GIS research, working with DES and Fish & Game, posting signs and much more.

If you are interested and would like to volunteer, we invite you to attend one of our meetings, and bring a volunteer application form (or we can provide one for you).
