Agricultural Commission - The mission of the Agricultural Commission (AC) is to conserve agricultural land, protect agricultural viability, and to enhance the practice of agriculture in the Town of Weare. Meetings are the 1st Thursday of month @7:00pm at the Town Office upper level meeting room.
 Board of Firewards - Meets the 2nd Monday of month @6:30pm at the Town Office Building
 Building Committee - To access the Town Office and building needs and bring up to code.  Not active at this time.
Cable TV Committee - CATV6  This committee is responsible for providing broadcast time and access equipment to qualified community members and televising community events. Meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of every other month at 6:00 p.m. except in summer meets every month.
Cemetery Trustees (elected 3 year term)- All meetings are the 2nd Tues. of month at 5:00pm at the Town Office
 CIP Subcommittee (Subcommittee of Planning Board) - This Committee is a document projecting the capital needs of the town, broken down into its various departments.  A proper CIP projects the major projects for the next 6 to 10 years, providing the Selectmen with a valuable tool for budgeting.  Members of the CIP Subcommittee may be asked to meet at various times to accommodate different schedules.  Meetings are to be determined.
Conservation Commission (3 year term) - A Commission whose purpose is to preserve and protect valuable, natural and open land resources. Meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
Economic Development Committee - This Committees task is to encourage the economic development of Weare.  Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
Finance Committee (appointed 3 year term) - The Finance Committee evaluates the financial and budgetary recommendations of the Board of Selectmen and the Weare School District and reports its recommendations thereon, explaining the tax impact such proposals will have on the Town’s tax rate.  Meetings are held on the 1st Thursday of each month @7:00pm
Heritage Commission - To give local government in New Hampshire new abilities to recognize and protect historical and cultural resources.  Meetings are the 4th Weds. of month @6:00 pm.

Mildred Hall Advisory Committee - Meets the 2nd Weds. of ea. month @6:00pm @ the Stone Building, 4 North Stark Highway, Weare, NH.
Municipal Records Retention Committee - Meetings to be determined each month.
Old Home Days Committee
Open Space Committee - This Committee is a standing subcommittee of the Weare Conservation Commission, investigating and deliberating potential conservation property acquisitions and providing recommendations to the WCC.  Not active at this time.
Overseer of Public Welfare (appointed by BOS)
Parks & Recreation Director - Mike Housman
Parks & Recreation Commission (appointed 3 yr term)- The Parks and Recreation Committee manages and oversees maintenance of the Town’s recreation and park facilities, including Chase Park, Ineson Memorial Field, and Purington Memorial Field. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. From April to Sept. they sometimes also meet the 4th Tuesday of each month.
Planning Board (appointed 3 yr term)- The Planning Board administers the Subdivision Ordinance, prepares, amends and updates the Town’s Master Plan and recommends changes in the Zoning Ordinances to the Town Meeting. Meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
Public Library Trustees - Meet 1st Thursday of each month @6:30pm.

Trustees of Trust Funds (elected 3 yr term) - Meet 2nd Monday of each month @9:00am in lower level conference room.
Zoning Board (appointed 3 yr term) - The Zoning Board of adjustment is empowered to grant variances and exceptions to the Zoning Ordinance and issues permits otherwise prohibited by the Ordinance, when principals of justice and equity compel such result. The ZBA meets the 1st Tuesday of every month at 7:30 p.m.

The Town of Weare is looking for citizens who are interested in playing an active role in the community. By filling out this form, a list of names of citizens willing to serve voluntarily on boards, committees and commissions can be compiled and readily available when needed.
