Town of Weare The Town of Weare voted to establish the Weare
Conservation Commission (WCC) in 1967 to act as advisors assisting other town boards, developers,
and landowners in the protection of natural resources and habitats.

The Weare Conservation Commission
According to the enabling law, signed into effect in 1963 by Governor John King ( New Hampshire Revised Statutes Annotated 36-A), "A city or town...may establish a conservation commission ... for the proper utilization and protection of the natural resources and for protection of the watershed resources of said city or town." The Weare Conservation Commission (WCC) provides the following services to the Town.
